But lets slow it down a notch and think of the facts, reload travelled overseas... to a country with a climate with a temperature well below his own and still managed 4th.

To reinforce my point reload was UNDEFEATED on dm2, which clearly has the most lava of any duel map, hence a higher temperature; with which this beast was obviously more accustom to.

the amount of lava on dm4 exceeds that of dm2 by far. that is unless the big room button is triggered, which is very unusual for a duel. dm4 temperature is at least 5 degree fahrenheit higher by my estimate.

While we're naming the world's best I'd like to present Kovaak.

Kovaak, from America would give any player you threw in front of him a run for their money. He doesn't have access to playing the upper echelon of Europe and has been fairly inactive. Send this kid to Central Europe for a couple months during an "active" season and he'd easily be top ranking and a serious contender to any player. Although, it's debatable that he'd be able to take EU's best down straight off the plane, give him a month or two and he'd be making a serious impression.

My guess is the same reasoning could be used for Reload. Reload has proven exemplary reaction speed, excellent timing and superior aim but what concerns me is his tactics. I was seriously concerned about Reload's dated strat but as of late his strategy looks to be more in sync with the times.

What differentiates Kovaak from most is he's one of the few players that you can tell who is really thinking (dag being another exception) when he plays. By thinking I mean listening and calculating instead of relying on auto-pilot mode from playing the maps a zillion times over. Kovaak is also an extremely fast learner. Combine that with his superior movement proven by his ability to do almost all the runs on Ztricks while facing backwards. His movement is also highlighted by how quickly and fluidly he scales all the maps whilst playing. Kovaak in contrast to competition in North America has deadly aim and I'm sure very few would be able to contest him on povdmm4.

There is little doubt that Griffin, dag, and reppie are easily among the best in the world but if you're gonna compare them to Reload, I don't think it's fair to neglect Kovaak in this matter.

The ONLY reason Reload lost on dm6 and 4 at TGI is because admittedly, he could not shaft. That was a combination of 1) so used to being HPB online thus never using it and 2) Dm2 was a map played more often (for the same reasons, ppl did not have Broadband in AU during TGI).

Come today, reloads best map is DM6. In fact take out good he is on dm2, and double it. Thats his skill level for DM6.

That leaves DM4 and Aero. Reload is one of the worlds best on Aero and DM4 he has completely revolutionised his style of play.

I don't even know if I will get access to a computer worthy enough to play qw on.. I'm just saying that if I get the opportunity it could be nice playing against reload to get an opinion about his skills.. I've played against griffin, dag, reppie, insane and paradoks and the rest of the european qw scene, so I know how it is to play this guys.. and it would be nice playing reload to compare their skills to his.. since he is based in sydney just like I will be I suppose we will both be on 13 ms, so the conditions could be optimal!

on the other hand, yeah I don't think reload would bother playing me, because it seems like he doesn't give a shit about what people think about his qw skills.. he seems like a guy just playing every once in a while for fun.. the only people that seems to care is his fans with their inferiority complexes..
