Reload if you ever check cha-tv, listen up and do us all a favor and never stop playing QW. You're a huge inspiration to us all.

If you are going to go inactive for awhile again, at least grace us with a few games against Mort first. You're probably not at the top of your game but I think you're at a point now where you'd be able to have some really interesting games against him.

Btw, what's going on with dirtbox these days? That guy has some sick skills as well.

once again the most overrated player owns a noob... sure, he moves smooth, but i still havent seen him against a good player with tactical knowlege and good aim.

#11 - When is the last time you seen a player do this:

http://quakeworld.ru/demo.:)?id=1046

Or this:

http://www.challenge-tv.com/index.php?mode=demodetail&demo=29616

Aim like that takes exemplary prediction and timing. Translate those skills into a duel + map knowledge + movement speed, and the net result is one hell of a QW player.

one other thing tho that amazes me with the endif demos is that it appears that noone have discovered air twirling and fastspawning in .au?

#15 - watch the Reload demos against StinG if you want to see Reload play someone who isnt a 'newbie', even tho Miyagi isnt a newbie anyway.

StinG is easily top 3 in OZ.

#16 Of course players in Australia know how to twirl and spawn fast in Endif you fukn moron. Its just that noone twirls in particular because it defeats the whole purpose of playing endif.

There are ways to avoid rockets without twirling and ruining the fun that is endif, and reload shows EXACTLY how this is done.

#15 - As long as you can't get a taste for Reload's skill, you're probably always gonna place yourself or others close to you in some hypothetical situation where they're in some way superior.

If you're like most of the people who belittle Reloads skill you're sizing him up based on pride and ego, and not on the amount of skill he exemplifies in-game against all manner of opponents. In the event that you just haven't seen some of the opponents he goes up against look-up games played by Mortuary, Dirtbox, Venom, harlsom,Sting, etc. Mortuary has come a long way in a short period of time, but he has easily as many offensive moves as Dag, although he lacks in Dag's stealth and defensive game. Reload is also world famous for taking out the great Lakerman_of_SC who in his day was the arguably best QW player. Reload has nothing to prove, he has proven himself in every way that matters.

Haha, I like what Hagge said:
"Reload is a mystery :E"

Hagge, you're fucking hilarious.

A crucial point that people seem to forget is you're only as good as the era you play in. When Reload was top of the food chain in QW, lots of competitors played, hardware and mouse speed was lacking, people hadn't evolved the game as far. In that era Reload ruled and if there was enough sport in QW now you could bet he'd rule all the same today.

#21 - taking out lakerman? by that u mean winning dm2 and getting rpe'd on dm4 and dm6? then ok.
i played against lakerman in that 'era' of time, right about tgi, so i know how it is and was when it comes to hardware at that time. ive seen lakerman loose to players a lot less skilled then him, me for one.
i ain't saying that reload's a bad player, he is good. but i _still_ haven't seen him up against a really skilled player like dag and griffin. i'd love to be proven wrong, and see reload destroying dag or griffin in a tournament. i would be the first one to acknowledge him as the best player, and admiting i was wrong.

#20 - then why don't they? theres more to skill on endif then just aim. movement for one. and aiming and moving, while hitting a player that moves good - thats the hard part about endif. Ul is the superior when it comes to that. awsome moves, good aim. almost unbeatable.

#21 If he was good in the past have absolute nothing to do whether he is good or bad now. Ofcourse he can be a natural talent for quake but he can be rusty and things like that.

The same thing to say that we should thank some country today for something it did for a 100 years ago.
Its all about how the status is right now, not if he was good back in the old days. Jeeezz

Back when he played at tgi he had a sens of 18 to 20 something around that figure and was vsing everyone at tgi. He beat everyone on dm2 at tgi. What was amazing was that he could play with that setup and have such good aim. He is the benchmark and anyone who plays him knows that.

Babel, did ever say anything to the contrary? Anonymous(62.116.226.***) said he never saw reload play against anyone good, so I pointed out a number of players reload has played who are considered good. In addition, I also shared my views on reload as a qw player overall.

haha everytime i come back to CHTV there is MORE demo's of me being ripped by reload... :)

Few things to add:

1. He is _really_ intimidating to play...
2. He is _really_ fast...
3. Unless i get some magical 9-0 start i'm just running around crashin and bashin

Fun Fun.. might download these to figure out when it was... :)

That all said, can ppl upload other demos of reload slapping someone else around ;)
