GG, final games are nothing compared with other games. VERY tense, many mistakes, but worth watching.

It's good to know that even the "elite" get nervous at times. :P

I'm a fan of Para, always have been, maybe because I love DM6 and I like his style, heh, obvioisly.. and through the years, people who know this, have always told me "Para is a 1-map wonder"... Well, he has beaten some good players in DM4 in this tourney. pkk, Rock, thechosenone.. good dm4 players.

I wish ParadokS good luck vs. Avenger! That's probably his toughest opponent in this tourney so far!! :)

Afaik, Para hasn't dropped a single map in duelmania. As well as the dm4 games Ken mentioned, he's beaten insane there and also defeated fix on Aerowalk, so it's not as if he's easy to beat on the other maps. It'll be interesting to see how he shapes up against Avenger on ztndm3 (assuming he'll choose that). Perhaps we'll see Para's first maploss?

wow, these games are well-played. the rock has long been one of my favourite finnish players; that great match versus acid on dm6 is still one of the most intense dm6s i've had the pleasure to watch. in fact, i'd rate it as one of the top 10 dm6 duels without any doubt. but about these demos....

dm6:> the key to this game is what rock does/doesn't do after he frags para at the 4-0 mark. para's avoidance of rock and playing aggressively without the RA were exciting to see executed. if it would've been me, i know it would've be all-rock for the last 8 minutes. rock makes a closer game of it by raping para all over dm6 for about 2mins toward the latter half of the game. but para is too resourceful without the ra on dm6 and he does manage to resume control in the last minute, but not before para got a good feel of rock's manlove.

dm4:>this was a come-from-behind win for para. i had expected to see rock play this map tight and to make para always be on the run. the start was just what the rock must've desired, geting para down fast and hard. para surprised me with his escape from the mh room and the rock seemed to get close but not close enough to kill para for the next few minutes. some of the shafting frags are first rate; especially the frag where para shafts the rock with minimal health. the rock's trick had me guessing a little. the great thing about this match is that you had two very skilled players never giving up. ggs to both!

xhrl, I don't think rock comeback on dm6 was really his achievement. I think para when leading 16:-1 did not try very hard, he clearly understood he already won this map.

anyway, very good games.

agranom: Maybe Para did feel more confident after having such a big lead, but hey, props to Rock, because it's not easy for anyone to frag Para on dm6 like he did in that little sequence! And it's not like Para wasn't trying....
