The fins definately know when they're good and L is one of the best at showing it from my limited experience of him and other fins. :D

yeah L knows skull; i enjoyed watching a series of L vs hib games on it a while ago. I wonder if fifi and L have met on skull? I should probably check the cdmt site:) error really impressed me with his smart play.

yeah link, really fun, aggressive game on wildtest. i played a few rounds on it earlier and was really impressed. it's kind of a dm2 affair though--it can lend itself well to both homocsstyle and crazy +forward style. depends on the players' mentalities.

What makes it possible to cs on dm2 is the fact that you've got one teleport in each end of the map leading to the midle of it. This combined with the fact that the chaser has to come very close to the teles to get shots at the camper, makes it easy to cs out a lead. In addition you can only attack the teles from one or two possitions, making it possible for him to do some damage before escaping. And, as a final point, both camp spots have armors, health and rockets...

Wildtest is smaller than dm2 and have no teles you can use for cs-ing. I would think that this makes it very difficult to avoid battles against a good player.

:): yeah, there's a definite difference there. regardless, there's still a lot of waiting-around-corners-at-the-tops-of-stairs, which i guess can't be avoided. if all wildtest matches were played like the one in this .rar, we wouldn't have a problem. i just don't see that happening, especially considering the other wildtest games we've seen in this tourney (zzz).

There is new wild version coming up. It will prevent some CS, making it even better.

Just switch the stairs with ramps and it will be a lot less possible to cs. To make it even more offensive, perhaps take away the height of mega/ra area.
