Dag was obvisuly the best player at the lan, owned both in 1on1 and 4on4. I think he even got all the pentas in on game against hf in the NQR semifinal.

i think there is a demos.qhlan.org ... i was definitely on such a thing and i saw *all* the .mvd demos from all the servers for qhlan4

dag wasnt the best player, i wouldnt say so.. especially when dag/space left the 2vs2 competition saying that "they would rather play the final on the internet" what kind of dumb shit is that? so griffin/mrlame won by forfeit
Monday 06 Jan 2003, 10:30
#12:
phil
(grif/lame won the first best-out-of-3 versus dag/space in the 2on2 final, though)

#13:
dag
the 2on2 final was never finnished.. since we beat them in the winnersbracket they had to win two games... and since mrlame went from the lan and came back 8:00cet and i had to leave 9:00cet we where forced to leave wo...

last time xali raped griffin very hard @ dm4 and now he owned dag so hard 20-1 or something like that, shame that xali cant play cs on dm2. That map is so bad 1on1 map if you start to play very defense (smart).

dag is the most dominant all-round player right now. I do think xalibur is much like dag from this all-round perspective; though I think when the chips are down in a duel, dag knows how to speed up or slow down a match's pace better than anyone.

dag has such a cool head in a tight match that many have told me that he actually has an electric fan strapped to his back, blowing wind right at his head, just keep him as cool as possible :P

i know just ment that xali can just win one map from great players like hagge, dag and griffin

big gj to qh crew.. as always no lan is complete without some troubles, and it seems this one had some with scheduling (at the least) but saying "i had to leave at 9" or even "im not going to be here before 8" is poor excuse

as far as being tired... there is no such word in any competitor's dictionary.

especially here: (notice the red bulls) http://pics.qhlan.org/qhlan5/Pics_from_ok98/griffin.jpg

gg :)

Someone should post a Dag-vs-Griffin pack (they played 3 series off best out off 3, first one sent griffin to looser brackets, but he came back..) But dunno about the 7mg limit on demos now, if u can fitt all these matches in on zip.

Yeah that's one of the things that surprised me the most on the lan, that people DO use timers to time powerups... I just didn't know that. I thought it was considered cheating. I use the ingame clock which is not as good. Think I'll go buy a clock now.

how can a clock be considered cheating?
By the way ktpro server tell u the time with seconds now anyway, so it actually easyer to use the clock in ktpro that a outside clock since u dont have to take your eyes from the screen.

A egg-boiler clock is usefull in qw too, and armors and mh and weapons most ppl can time acurate since most ppl have been playing qw for so lang and have it in "the blood", but penta and stuff is worse, (15min left etc 10min left give u a hint though..)

hehe it's actually the same clock that was on the Flaming Fist website under FF's secret weap picture years ago. (99 or 00 or something)

HardCore: you can't see the time in ktpro with seconds unless you're a spectator. at least not in the versions i've played

of course it's a lot cooler to time by feeling - bottom line: some sell out, others stay independant

rofl.. I can't believe you guys actually think dag could beat Reload.. compare dag's povdmm4 aim/shaft to Reloads... its so fucking laughable.. then dag's scorelines. WOW so fun to see 3-1 games on dm2.. god Reload did better vs LakermaN when laker was at the topppp of his game..

if you ever get to play Reload, gl trying to cs vs him haha
